Turn a Fall Gathering Into an Experience

Not every fall event needs an elaborate theme.

Sometimes a live trio or quartet, seasonal décor, food and drinks are enough to make an everyday gathering feel like an occasion.

Over the years, we’ve curated live music and DJs for fall events across residential communities, commercial properties, corporate workplaces, and other gathering spaces throughout Boston and beyond.

A few examples from our fall event portfolio from past years include City Market at O with Bozzuto, CambridgePark Drive Campus with Healthpeak, and The Campus at Marlborough with JLL — alongside many other seasonal events we’ve supported over the years.

Each calls for something different. A live trio might create the atmosphere for an outdoor fall festival, while a full band can become a focal point for a larger celebration. The goal is to curate entertainment around the property, audience, theme, and overall experience.

The goal isn’t simply to put musicians in the corner. The right entertainment gives guests another reason to stick around — to finish a conversation, stay for another song, grab another bite, and spend more time actually enjoying the event.

Give Halloween Its Own Soundtrack

Halloween is one of the best opportunities of the year to have a little more fun with entertainment.

For a Halloween celebration at Hub50House with Bozzuto, a DJ and lighting helped turn the residential amenity space into a completely different environment after dark.

And Halloween entertainment doesn’t have to mean a DJ.

At 2 Seaport Lane with JLL, a live trio provided another take on a seasonal celebration, while the surrounding décor helped carry the Halloween theme throughout the space.

That flexibility is one of our favorite parts of curating seasonal music. Depending on the event, Halloween can mean a high-energy DJ, a themed live band, an atmospheric trio, or even something unexpected.

Match the Music to the Theme

Some of the most memorable seasonal events happen when the entertainment feels like it belongs there.

For a Mad Hatter-themed event at 255 State Street with JLL, an accordionist became part of the larger visual and experiential concept.

That’s very different from simply choosing “background music.”

When we curate an event, we’re thinking about the property, audience, theme, energy level and how guests will actually experience the space. A musician greeting guests as they arrive creates a different feeling than a trio anchoring a courtyard or a DJ taking over an amenity space after dark.

Fall Music Doesn't Have to Mean One Genre

There isn’t one sound for fall.

A guitarist can create a warm, relaxed atmosphere for a residential gathering like this event at The Sudbury Apartments, a Greystar property. A jazz trio can elevate a corporate or tenant event. A vocalist and keys duo can complement a grand opening or community celebration. A full band can become the centerpiece of a larger fall festival.

That’s why we generally start with the experience rather than the lineup.
